# VeeJam vs JacketShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: JacketShot at every 2 days against VeeJam's every 4 days. JacketShot also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VeeJam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and JacketShot sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VeeJam ships an update every 4 days, JacketShot every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
