# GhostBuddy vs OpenHi

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenHi at every 3 days against GhostBuddy's every 9 days. GhostBuddy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GhostBuddy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and OpenHi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GhostBuddy ships an update every 9 days, OpenHi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
