# Magic Eraser vs Alterframe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alterframe at every 5 days against Magic Eraser's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Eraser sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Alterframe sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic Eraser ships an update every 2 weeks, Alterframe every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
