# Sand Shape vs Last Seen

The clearest difference is rating: Sand Shape at 4.6 against Last Seen's 3.8. Sand Shape also leads on ratings volume (585 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sand Shape sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Last Seen sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sand Shape holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sand Shape has 585 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Sand Shape's written reviews are positive against 40% of Last Seen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
