# ActiveDay vs Cress

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cress at every 2 days against ActiveDay's weekly. Cress also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ActiveDay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Cress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ActiveDay ships an update weekly, Cress every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
