About

OnTheFarm

Stanford has a lot going on. The hard part is hearing about it in time. OnTheFarm puts it all in one place: the talk your friend mentioned, the free food two buildings over, the concert at Frost, the party everyone's going to on Friday. Open the app and see what's happening tonight, this weekend, or a five-minute walk from where you're standing. FIND YOUR NEXT PLAN Events come from across campus and the surrounding area, and every one links back to where it came from, so you can check the details yourself. Filter by what you're in the mood for, when you're free, and how far you feel like going. GET THERE The map shows Marguerite, Caltrain, BART, and SamTrans together, with live arrivals and vehicle positions where the agency shares them and the timetable where it doesn't. Plan a trip, then follow step-by-step directions. Spots like CoHo, Green Library, and Late Night at Arrillaga show their hours when the venue publishes them. If we don't know whether a place is open, we won't pretend to. HOST SOMETHING Make an event in about a minute. Add a flyer, pick a song from Apple Music, bring in co-hosts, and send the link around. Everyone who RSVPs gets an event pass, and if you turn on check-in, guests get a QR code you can scan at the door. It holds a token, never personal information. KEEP YOUR QUARTER STRAIGHT Add your classes and assignments to My quarter and see your week at a glance, with a countdown to your next class right on your Lock Screen. ASK SPROUT Sprout is the campus assistant. Ask for "free food near me tonight" or "somewhere quiet to study" and get real events and places, with sources you can check. Sprout is labeled wherever it appears, and it only sees what you choose to share. SEE WHAT CAMPUS IS TALKING ABOUT Global is one shared thread for campus: what's good, what's happening, and what's worth showing up to. Groups and clubs post there too. OnTheFarm is for Stanford students, staff, and affiliates. You'll confirm your affiliation with a Stanford email. OnTheFarm is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Stanford University.
