# Fromly vs Nominal Ops

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fromly at every 3 days against Nominal Ops's every 3 weeks. Fromly also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fromly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and Nominal Ops sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fromly ships an update every 3 days, Nominal Ops every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
