# Gravity vs Japaneezy

The clearest difference is ads: Gravity at none against Japaneezy's shown. Gravity also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Japaneezy's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Japaneezy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gravity ships an update every 9 days, Japaneezy every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
