# Gravity vs Japanese Keyboard Trainer

The clearest difference is rating: Japanese Keyboard Trainer at 5.0 against Gravity's 4.2. Gravity's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Japanese Keyboard Trainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Japanese Keyboard Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gravity ships an update weekly, Japanese Keyboard Trainer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
