# Bean vs Cudex

The clearest difference is ads: Cudex at none against Bean's shown. Bean's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bean sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Cudex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bean ships an update every 2 days, Cudex every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
