# Stride vs Prova

The clearest difference is ads: Stride at none against Prova's shown. Stride also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stride sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Prova sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stride ships an update every 2 days, Prova every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
