# Jot vs Pocket Notifier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pocket Notifier at every 5 days against Jot's every 2 weeks. Pocket Notifier also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Pocket Notifier sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jot ships an update every 2 weeks, Pocket Notifier every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
