# Jot vs FileFast

The clearest difference is update cadence: FileFast at every 3 days against Jot's every 2 weeks. FileFast also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FileFast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jot ships an update every 2 weeks, FileFast every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
