# YostNotes vs Penly AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: YostNotes at fortnightly against Penly AI's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YostNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Penly AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
