# Inkwell Reader vs monoscript

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Inkwell Reader at 18.0 against monoscript's 26.5. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inkwell Reader sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and monoscript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
