# Dopamine Pet vs Nubi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dopamine Pet at every 4 days against Nubi's fortnightly. Dopamine Pet also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dopamine Pet sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Nubi sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dopamine Pet ships an update every 4 days, Nubi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
