# FrameTwin vs Plei

The clearest difference is update cadence: FrameTwin at every 2 weeks against Plei's every 2 months. Plei's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FrameTwin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Plei sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FrameTwin ships an update every 2 weeks, Plei every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
