# Idle Alchemist vs Pitloop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pitloop at every 4 days against Idle Alchemist's every 2 months. Idle Alchemist's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idle Alchemist sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Pitloop sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Idle Alchemist ships an update every 2 months, Pitloop every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
