# Splitonic vs Degenson

The clearest difference is monetization model: Degenson at free against Splitonic's free with in-app purchases. Degenson also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitonic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Degenson sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Splitonic against 5.0 for Degenson. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively.

Splitonic ships an update every 2 weeks, Degenson every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
