# Note vs Brief

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note at every 2 days against Brief's every 9 days. Brief's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brief sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note ships an update every 2 days, Brief every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
