# Digital SAT Prep vs Cereby

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cereby at freemium against Digital SAT Prep's subscription. Cereby also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). Digital SAT Prep's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital SAT Prep sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Cereby sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cereby holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital SAT Prep has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Digital SAT Prep ships an update every 6 weeks, Cereby every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
