# Rank 'Em! vs e

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rank 'Em! at free against e's freemium. e's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rank 'Em! sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and e sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rank 'Em! against 5.0 for e. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Rank 'Em! ships an update every 6 days, e weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
