# Modfest vs Car Modification

The clearest difference is ads: Car Modification at none against Modfest's shown. Modfest's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modfest sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Car Modification sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Modfest ships an update fortnightly, Car Modification every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
