# MyScribe vs Miaru

The clearest difference is rating: MyScribe at 5.0 against Miaru's 4.7. Miaru's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Miaru sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyScribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miaru has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyScribe ships an update weekly, Miaru every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
