# Countdown vs Big Day

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown at none against Big Day's 1. Big Day's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Countdown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown ships an update every 2 months, Big Day every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
