# EZCast vs FABRIQ

The clearest difference is ads: FABRIQ at none against EZCast's shown. FABRIQ also leads on rating (2.4 vs 2.1) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). EZCast's advantage is ratings volume (898 vs 103). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FABRIQ holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EZCast has 898 ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of EZCast's written reviews are positive against 11% of FABRIQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
