# TapLock vs SPHERE AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: SPHERE AI at every 5 days against TapLock's every 10 days. SPHERE AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TapLock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SPHERE AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TapLock ships an update every 10 days, SPHERE AI every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
