# Locked In vs PenTest+ Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: PenTest+ Prep at every 2 days against Locked In's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locked In sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PenTest+ Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locked In ships an update every 11 days, PenTest+ Prep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
