# Universal TV vs Contract Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Contract Maker at 4.9 against Universal TV's 3.7. Contract Maker also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Universal TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Contract Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Contract Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contract Maker has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Universal TV ships an update monthly, Contract Maker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
