# Plotix vs HookFlix

The clearest difference is ads: HookFlix at none against Plotix's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plotix sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $23.99 per 7 days and HookFlix sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plotix ships an update every 3 days, HookFlix weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
