# Block Stack vs Block Stack QG

The clearest difference is update cadence: Block Stack QG at every 3 days against Block Stack's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Stack sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Block Stack QG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Stack ships an update weekly, Block Stack QG every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
