# HourlyTimeTracker vs Jotsum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jotsum at every 5 days against HourlyTimeTracker's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HourlyTimeTracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Jotsum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HourlyTimeTracker ships an update every 2 months, Jotsum every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
