# Braindump vs Topmost

The clearest difference is update cadence: Topmost at every 2 days against Braindump's weekly. Topmost also leads on device support (5 vs 2). Braindump's advantage is iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Braindump sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Topmost sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Braindump ships an update weekly, Topmost every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
