# Zettelkasten vs Corteks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Corteks at every 3 days against Zettelkasten's monthly. Corteks also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zettelkasten sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Corteks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zettelkasten ships an update monthly, Corteks every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
