# ThyroVault vs NovaQI Scan

The clearest difference is ads: ThyroVault at none against NovaQI Scan's shown. NovaQI Scan's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThyroVault sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and NovaQI Scan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
