# Nokosu vs ThisDay

The clearest difference is monetization model: ThisDay at free against Nokosu's freemium. ThisDay also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nokosu sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and ThisDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nokosu ships an update weekly, ThisDay every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
