# Nokosu vs Ordinal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ordinal at every 3 days against Nokosu's weekly. Ordinal also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nokosu sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Ordinal sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nokosu ships an update weekly, Ordinal every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
