# Free Writing vs Blind Draft

The clearest difference is update cadence: Free Writing at every 4 days against Blind Draft's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Free Writing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blind Draft sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Free Writing ships an update every 4 days, Blind Draft every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
