# Dafox vs Witch & Magic

The clearest difference is ads: Dafox at none against Witch & Magic's shown. Dafox also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (8.4 vs 12.0). Witch & Magic's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (50 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dafox sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Witch & Magic sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dafox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Witch & Magic has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Dafox ships an update every 9 months, Witch & Magic every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
