# TaskTracker vs plottwist

The clearest difference is update cadence: plottwist at every 2 days against TaskTracker's every 10 days. TaskTracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and plottwist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskTracker ships an update every 10 days, plottwist every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
