# Notch vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notch at every 3 days against Pulse's every 3 weeks. Notch also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pulse sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notch ships an update every 3 days, Pulse every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
