# Hipocampus vs Revizly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Revizly at weekly against Hipocampus's every 2 months. Revizly also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hipocampus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Revizly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hipocampus ships an update every 2 months, Revizly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
