# Astral8 vs WEF Events

The clearest difference is rating: Astral8 at 5.0 against WEF Events's 3.1. WEF Events's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Astral8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WEF Events has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Astral8 ships an update fortnightly, WEF Events every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
