# Selam vs Answerly AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Answerly AI at 100% against Selam's 76%. Answerly AI also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Selam's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (143 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Answerly AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Selam holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Selam has 143 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Selam's written reviews are positive against 100% of Answerly AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Selam ships an update every 2 weeks, Answerly AI every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
