# DroneTone vs Microtonal Ear Trainer

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Microtonal Ear Trainer at 13.0 against DroneTone's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DroneTone sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Microtonal Ear Trainer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
