# Epilog vs Hydrium

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Epilog at 15.1 against Hydrium's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epilog sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Hydrium sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Epilog ships an update every 6 days, Hydrium every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
