# Epilog vs Kaizen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kaizen at every 2 days against Epilog's every 6 days. Epilog's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epilog sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Kaizen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Epilog ships an update every 6 days, Kaizen every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
