# Pacely Step vs StepMe

The clearest difference is ads: Pacely Step at none against StepMe's shown. StepMe's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pacely Step sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepMe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pacely Step ships an update every 2 months, StepMe every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
