# Pacely Step vs Footfall

The clearest difference is update cadence: Footfall at weekly against Pacely Step's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pacely Step sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Footfall sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pacely Step ships an update every 2 months, Footfall weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
