# Prüfsim vs Learn German

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prüfsim at every 3 days against Learn German's weekly. Prüfsim also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prüfsim sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Learn German sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prüfsim ships an update every 3 days, Learn German weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
